New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser Shows Off Humor, Action, and Baby Groot

So, Baby Groot is going to sell like a billion toys, right?  Or do you think I'm low-balling it?

Director James Gunn has an instantly recognizable comedic sensibility, and it's front and center in this new teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.  Honestly, I was on board for a sequel the minute the first film ended, so they could've sold this to me with a two minute static shot of Chris Pratt giving finger guns to the camera, and I would still be crazy excited.  That this looks to expand the scope of our hero's world, while packing in tons of that ensemble chemistry that I think made the original extra special makes me foam at the mouth with anticipation.

This is really the best way to cut a trailer.  There are plenty of glimpses that hint at larger things, but nothing is really given away.  The jokes land, the action beats look fun and interestingly shot, and Baby Groot looks appropriately adorable and badass.  I don't have a ton to say otherwise because I can't find much wrong with this teaser.  It whets the appetite perfectly, and makes May 2017 seem that much further away.
